Surveying Services
Leamans surveying service offers two types of survey:
1. The new RICS Home Buyers Report that has been carefully devised to:
- Provide a concise report in plain English
- Give clients a clear idea as to the present condition of the property they intend to buy, noting items that may affect value
- Give an overall opinion on the property
- Set out condition ratings on constituent parts of the property
- Provide a valuation of the property
2. Building Survey:
- A more in depth inspection, mostly suitable for larger and/or older properties or those in obviously poor condition
- Provides detail on the present condition of the property
- Advises on future maintenance items
- Set out to cover various parts of the property in sections (e.g. chimneys, main walls, joinery, etc.)
- Indicates if further specialist reports required (e.g. building engineer)
- Provides insurance valuation (and open market valuation if required)
